Summer Break for Poca Poca Steam
It’s officially summer! Outside world is so green and I can hardly keep up with harvesting those precious medicinal plants out in the wild. I harvest abundantly growing herbs with prayers and gratitude, so the harvest time becomes a ritual in itself. Then I process them by hands preparing for the future steams.
Yarrow flowers. Flowers and leaves are used for its antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and astringent qualities.
And there are also other herbs that are grown at my friends’ farm in the area. They receive a lot of love and care by nature and the land stewards, the caretakers of the farm. Those vibrant herbs will also be incorporated in the future steams so that we can receive the blessings of the earth directly in a very intimate way.
Marshmallow flowers. We use its roots for lubricating quality
So please look forward to the fall and winter offerings from Poca Poca steam! We will take a three months summer break from July through September, but will be back in October with more exciting offerings!
If you’d like to receive a private session during the time, please reach out to Fukiko via contact. I’d be happy to accommodate your need as much as possible.
Happy summer!
